Driftskippers Trail Clean-Up Day – Volunteers Needed!

We’re getting the Soo Line, Foxy Trail & Red Top Loop trails ready for the season and need your help!

Join the Mille Lacs Driftskippers for a trail clean-up day as we tackle trash removal, brushing, and general cleanup along the trail.

Date: Thursday April 30 & Friday May 1 Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Meet Location: Driftskipper Clubhouse

What we’ll be doing:

Picking up trash along the trail

Cutting back brush and limbs

Cleaning up problem areas

What to bring (if you have it):

Work gloves

Loppers or hand tools

Chainsaw (experienced operators only)

ATV/UTV + trailer (if available)

Don’t worry if you don’t have tools—we’ll have extras!

Food provided! We’ll have coffee and donuts in the morning and grill up burgers/brats for lunch.

All help is appreciated—bring a friends and help us keep the the area trails in great shape!

3/23/26: It's sad to report but the warm weather and no snow has made the trails unusable by sleds and 4-wheeler season is not open.

Our Club

Our Snowmobile & ATV Club consists of getting together on a regular basis in order to share ideas and enjoy activities based on our common interests. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit club established in 1970 and maintain approximately 106 miles of trails year round. The Mille Lacs Drift Skippers Snowmobile and ATV Club promotes and encourages riders of all levels, equipment and ages.

Our trails are maintained by volunteer members helping out. If you’re interested in joining, or would like to learn more, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the volunteer coordinator to be directed to the appropriate person or attend any meeting on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm.
